Our next club meeting will be Monday, June 9, 2008. Program will be a look at our new disaster ready antenna trailer and discussion of last minute hamfest items- please come out and help support the club! Hobknob begins around 7, meeting starts at 7:30. All are welcome!
Club Information
The membership of the Forsyth Amateur Radio Club is made up of ham radio operators and other interested people located in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, North Carolina and the surrounding area. We are a special service club affiliated with the ARRL and meets the second Monday of each month at the Red Cross Chapter House on Coliseum Drive in Winston-Salem. Some items of interest that the club sponsors are:
- Operation of 3 W4NC repeaters: 146.64 (-600, PL 100Hz - Winston-Salem), 145.47-600, PL 100Hz - Sauratown Mountain) and 444.275 (Winston-Salem-PL100hz)

A state of the art ham shack available to all of our licensed members

Sponsorship of the "Triad" of events- The January Winston-Salem FirstFest (2nd Saturday in January), The June Winston-Salem Classic Hamfest (2nd Saturday in June)and the October Pfafftown SwapFest (2nd Saturday in October).
- Sponsorship of The North Carolina QSO Party
- Participation (with all the trimmings) in Field Day
- Participation in contesting events.
- Sponsorship of Forsyth County ARES
- Publication of a monthly newsletter, which is available online on the PHOTO GALLERY page of this website.
Dues are a real bargain at only $24 per year and run from January through December.
